Callan Family Office, a registered investment advisor serving ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, foundations, and endowments across the United States, today announced it has been named a finalist in the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards (“the Wealthies”) in the Chief Technology Officer of the Year category, recognizing Dan Burke, Chief Technology Officer and Founding Partner.
The recognition, for the second-consecutive year, highlights Burke’s role in building and leading the firm’s integrated technology platform, shaping its AI strategy, and advancing how ultra-high-net-worth families are served through data, tax optimization, and investment oversight.
As Chief Technology Officer, Burke oversees the design and execution of Callan Family Office’s technology infrastructure, including data architecture, system integration, and aggregated reporting. He also helps lead the firm’s Tax Overlay Management program, which focuses on after-tax portfolio optimization across complex, multigenerational portfolios, and serves as Co-Chair of the Investment Committee, contributing to firmwide investment strategy and governance.
Burke has played a central role in the firm’s development, helping transform technology into a strategic driver of advisor capabilities and client outcomes. Under his leadership, Callan Family Office has built an integrated platform that enhances transparency, customization, and scalability for ultra-high-net-worth clients while supporting the firm’s continued growth and expansion of proprietary capabilities. Most recently, Burke has guided the firm’s adoption of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies—embedding them into Callan Family Office’s proprietary platform to make its teams more efficient and to deliver an even more responsive, personalized experience for clients.
Over the past several years, Callan Family Office has experienced strong organic growth, surpassing $10 billion in assets under management across a concentrated client base and expanding its services to include specialized capabilities such as tax overlay management and business and transaction consulting for liquidity events.
“We’re honored to see Dan’s leadership recognized as a finalist for the prestigious Wealthies,” said Jack Ginter, Chief Executive Officer of Callan Family Office. “His work reflects a broader commitment at Callan Family Office to integrating technology, investment expertise, and tax intelligence in a way that delivers more thoughtful outcomes for complex families.”
Now in its 12th year, the Wealth Management Industry Awards—widely known as the “Wealthies”—spotlight the companies and leaders shaping the future of financial advice, wealthtech, investment solutions and advisor growth.
A panel of judges made up of top names in the industry, led by Wealth Management director of editorial strategy and operations David Armstrong, chose the finalists and will determine the winners. Winners will be announced at a gala and awards ceremony in New York City on September 10th.
“The scale and quality of this year’s nominations reflect an industry that continues to evolve at an extraordinary pace,” Armstrong said. “What stood out to our judges was not just product innovation, but the growing sophistication around how firms are helping advisors operate, communicate, personalize advice and build sustainable businesses. The finalists represent a broad cross-section of organizations pushing the industry forward in meaningful ways.”
