At Callan Family Office, Tom Raymond draws on over 20 years of investment experience in the wealth management industry. A voracious reader, writer, and creative mind, he aims to deliver relevant insights on the financial markets to his clients, with a goal of bringing them clarity, understanding, and peace of mind. Knowing that each client’s personal objectives vary, Tom strives to customize client blueprints to achieve these goals.
Tom is an active member of the Asset Allocation Committee at Callan Family Office, responsible for developing the firm’s investment strategy. As such, his clients have a direct line of contact into Callan Family Office’s views on the latest market developments.
Previously Tom spent more than 15 years at Abbot Downing, Wells Fargo’s ultra-high-net-worth practice. During his time there, he was a voting member of the group’s asset allocation strategy committee and helped develop an investment strategy that contemplated time horizons measured in decades, unique tax considerations, complex balance sheets, and a willingness to embrace opportunities in the private markets.
Tom is a current board member of the Marple Newtown School District. He also formed and runs the Nittany Networking Breakfast series for Penn State’s College of Business. He has previously served on the Board for the St. Anastasia School Endowment in suburban Philadelphia and for the Penn State College of Business Alumni Society. Tom received his undergraduate degree from the University Park campus of Penn State. He graduated with honors from Drexel University’s MBA program and has a master’s in taxation from Villanova University.
