Nancy Amick is founder and managing partner at Insights Squared Consulting Group (Insights²) an industry-leading advisory firm that offers Family Wealth Consulting to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, couples, multi-generational families, and the trusted advisors, family offices and institutions that serve them.
Previously, Nancy was a Senior Vice President and Senior Director at Abbot Downing, Wells Fargo’s multi-family office for ultra-high-net-worth clients. In this national role she advised clients, and their key advisors, on how to navigate wealth conversations, plan for family business transitions, foster wealth stewardship, develop family governance, and engage in family philanthropy. Nancy subsequently helped plan and launch Family Wealth and Culture Services, an industry award-winning advisory platform within Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management.
In her earlier career at Wells Fargo, Nancy was head of Organizational Effectiveness and Development for Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement, which included leading their executive coaching program. In this role, she provided consultation to business leaders on complex and diverse workplace priorities involving individuals, teams and the organization.
Nancy holds PhD and MA degrees in psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a BA from the University of California, San Diego. Nancy earned her certificate in executive coaching from Columbia University Business School and Teachers College and is a contributing author to the book Internal Coaching: Stories of Success in Organizations.
Nancy has been a speaker before groups such as: Gleneagles Group, Tiger 21, Smith Family Business Initiative at Cornell, and Family Business Magazine in addition to numerous presentations before Centers of Influence. She has been quoted in media outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg, FA Magazine, The Business Journals, NASDAQ and Think Advisor.
