At Callan Family Office, John brings over 24 years of financial services experience working with multi-generational families, individuals, endowments, and foundations. As a client manager, John works with individuals and families, providing a complete set of family office services including investment management, estate and financial planning, trust administration, and private banking. Additionally, John uses his expertise to assist institutional non-profits and family foundations in achieving their financial objectives.
Prior to joining Callan Family Office, John spent 12 years at Abbot Downing, Wells Fargo’s ultra-high-net-worth business where he served as a managing director and relationship manager. While at Abbot Downing, John was responsible for working with ultra-high-net-worth families, endowments, and foundations to help them each meet their long-term financial goals.
Previously, John held wealth management positions within Wells Fargo’s wealth and investment management group where he provided advice and guidance on investment management, trust and estate planning, as well as private banking services.
John graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida with a concentration in finance. He is also a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®).
John currently serves on the board of trustees of the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, was the prior Chair of the Board of St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School as well as the Chair of the Board of the Museum of Science and History in Jacksonville, Florida. John is also a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville.
