With more than 20 years of experience managing complex, multi-generational investment portfolios, Jeremy Rice is responsible for asset allocation and portfolio construction, developing highly customized, institutional-quality investment solutions for Callan Family Offices’ ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
Prior to Callan Family Office, Jeremy was a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for Wells Fargo, the successor company to Abbot Downing, Wells Fargo’s ultra-high-net-worth business, which was retired in 2021. In both his work for Abbot Downing, and later for Wells Fargo, Jeremy worked closely with client families to develop, implement and monitor comprehensive investment strategies and conduct ongoing investment reviews.
Jeremy joined Abbot Downing in 2012, after having served for more than a decade at Wells Fargo, where he quickly rose through ranks from an associate portfolio manager to an investment strategist III. He began his career at North Star Resource Group as a registered representative.
Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Jeremy is a CFA® Charterholder. He also serves on the leadership council for the ALS Association for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
