At Callan Family Office, Britt works with individuals, multi-generational families, and tax-exempt entities on portfolio construction and ongoing investment management. Britt has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry including after-tax portfolio construction methodology, manager search and selection, and institutional performance measurement.

In addition to Britt’s role working with clients on investments, he serves on the Portfolio Construction, Due Diligence, and Investment Committees. Britt also serves on Callan Family Office’s Executive Management Team.

Prior to Callan Family Office, Britt was Regional Chief Investment Officer for Abbot Downing, Wells Fargo’s ultra-high-net-worth business. In this role Britt led an investment team, managed investment portfolios for select clients, and served on Abbot Downing’s portfolio construction advisory committee.

Prior to Abbot Downing, Britt was Managing Director for Calibre, the multifamily office for Wachovia Bank. At Calibre Britt worked in the investment consulting group which was responsible for the open architecture investment platform. Britt began his investment career with Wachovia Bank in 1998.

Britt graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in finance and earned a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Britt holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Britt serves on the Board of Governors and is current President for Tequesta Country Club in Tequesta, Florida.
